Garners Heritage Wines is a small boutique vineyard,nestled in the foothills of the Strathbogie Ranges. Planted in 2005 with an aim to produce top award winning wine, the estate grown single vineyard Shiraz has done just that with every vintage winning National and International awards and selling out within 12 months.
All work with the fruit is done by hand and a limited crop is harvested to ensure the best possible flavours.
Garners Heritage Wines also produce a beautiful refreshing Rose from the Shiraz, that is rich pink in colour. It is a soft, clean, crisp wine with hints of confectionary and mixed ripe berry fruit. Great with any type of food and exceptional on a hot day.
It does not have to be expensive to be good! The Garners love sharing the experience of growing and making great wine, with the added bonus of producing superb Gold winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Their cellar door is open by appointment. Call their mobile number if you are passing by and if they are home you are very welcome to come in. On most weekends the garden is open so why not come and enjoy a glass of wine while viewing the stunning Strathbogie Ranges from the back deck.
Garners 2009 and 2011 and 2012 Shiraz won Silver at the London International Wine Challenge and Syrah-du-Monde in France in 2012 and 2013. The 2011 also won Gold at Rutherglen and was voted best red in the People's Choice at Federation Square Regional Wine Show case 2013.
The Hong Kong Cricket club recently tasted our 2012 Shiraz and the 2011 Reserve and have ordered the Reserve.
